As a single mother of three teenage boys, I had built a thriving six-figure salon and coaching business, carving out a comfortable life for my family. When an opportunity called us to a new state, we answered with hope and determination. However, life had different plans. Our promised housing fell through, leaving us with just our vehicle and our faith.

For thirteen months, my boys and I made a home within the confines of an extended stay hotel. We adapted to cooking with hot plates and air fryers, shared tight spaces, and held onto our dignity through daily acts of resilience. The salon position that had prompted our move proved less viable than promised, and I watched as our financial stability crumbled.

But in those moments of deepest despair, when depression threatened to overwhelm me, I found strength in my faith. Through constant prayer and trust in Yahuah (God), we not only survived but emerged stronger. His grace lifted us from that season of hardship and restored hope to our family.
